 African Preschool Springtime Art Competition


Star College Durban are excited to invite Pre-schools in the Westville and surrounding area to participate in our South African Springtime Art Competition! 
This fun and creative initiative is designed especially for children aged 3-7 years to explore the beauty of spring through art.

COMPETITION DETAILS
Grade RRR (3-4 years): Spring Blossoms Finger Painting ๐ŸŒผ
Learners will create a finger painting inspired by the beautiful spring blossoms of South Africa.
This fun and creative activity celebrates new beginnings and lets children express themselves through colour and imagination.

Grade RR (4-5 years): Springtime Wildlife Collage ๐Ÿฆ‹
Learners will create a collage, using natural materials, to create a picture of an insect or animal that is found in South Africa during Spring time.

Grade R (5-6 years): Junk-E the Eco-Bot: South Africaโ€™s Springtime Superhero!๐ŸŽจ
Learners will design and build their very own Junk-E Eco-Botโ€”a recycled robot that helps keep South Africa clean by collecting or โ€œeatingโ€ junk.

The robot must be:
โœ” made mostly from recycled items (plastic bottles, boxes, cans, lids, straws, etc.)
โœ” should show movement features (like wheels or arms)
โœ” have a junk bin/mouth to collect waste.
