By participating at expo, students increased their awareness of the wonders of science, added to their knowledge and broadened their scientific horizons. “ (Quoted from Science Expo.)

Annually, at the prestigious Eskom Expo for Young Scientists International Science Fair (ISF), selected students from 35 Expo Regions in South Africa compete against the best young scientists from around the country and around the world.

These brilliant projects were showcased by Star College leaners at the Eskom Expo for Young Scientists in Durban on the 14th and 15th August 2018. The results were incredible!

🍕🍕 10E Pizza Night Fun 🍕🍕

On Saturday the 4th August, Mrs Aslan organised a splendid afternoon of fun, excitement and quality bonding time with her form class 10E.

The afternoon was spent making scrumptious pizza from scratch and then watching a movie.

The day was thoroughly enjoyed by all the 10E students and we would like to give a very big thank you to our teacher, Mrs Aslan.

🎡🎠🌈 Star College Primary held their annual Fun Day on Wednesday 8 August 2018. 🌈🎠🎡

Learners flocked early to school for a fun day where rides and entertainment were the highlights of the day. Learners enjoyed unlimited rides on the inflatables. There were games with prizes, candy floss, ice cream, cool drink, chicken tikka or pizza for learners to indulge in.

School fun days are an important part of a learner's educational life. This allows learners to break away from class routine for a day just to enjoy a fun filled day with their friends and teachers.
